Welcome to the Sunny Slope Orchards website!
Here at Sunny Slope, we are a family-owned business in Bridgeton, New Jersey (Hopewell Township / Cumberland County) that has grown from 20 to over 800 acres in 80 plus years. We grow peaches and nectarines that are mainly shipped commercially, but we also have a small retail market at the entrance of the farm's packing house where the peaches and nectarines are sold. Apples are grown as well and sold at the farm's market, along with our custom-blended cider.
Now that Fall is here, apples and cider are available now at our retail stand. We are open, 7 days a week, 8 am to 6 pm.
The heavy rains this past summer, along with the visit from Hurricane Irene, resulted in an apple crop that is very light and we do not expect to have apples and cider available late into the Fall this season. Our cider has no preservatives added, so if you would like ensure you have some for the later Holiday season, we suggest possibly purchasing some early and freezing it.
